PG Award winners
Every year, Profound Gentlemen awards individuals who aid and model the mission and vision of this work. These winners are announced at our annual Night Of Impact Awards dinner during the Community Impact Assembly conference. It’s our hope that the award recipients use the award to further their impact on the community.
Flourish Award
The Flourish Award is given to a male educator of color who continues to strive for excellence. He is not satisfied with the status quo and continues to seek ways to improve his practice in the field by inspiring the lives of students and improving their trajectory towards a season of success.

Friends Of PG Award
Given to a donor and/or volunteer of Profound Gentlemen that has relentlessly supported the mission and vision of Profound Gentlemen.

Servant Leadership Award
Given to an Organization that embodies the work of serving a community
Winner: Butler College Prep
Hope Award
Given to an individual who continues to transform and highlight messages of optimism that moves the work forward.
Winner: Jason B. Allen
Unity Award
Award given to a Gentlemen who relentlessly dedicates his time to supporting other Gentlemen. He loves the opportunity to collaborate and work as a team.

Black Boy Joy
Award given to a Gentlemen who exudes joy and happiness. This individual embodies the love and authenticity core value. He operates from a growth mindset with the spirit of hope.

Aspiring Educator Award
Given to an undergraduate student who is eager to serve his community through education and developing young minds of boys of color.
Winner: Adrian Hairston
New Educator of The Year
Given to a male educator of color who are in their first year of being in an education career field. This educator focus on developing themselves to serve his students to the best of his capacity. He has established strong relationships with his students, fellow educators, and the community he serves. As a beginning educator, he is a great example and inspires other males of color to become future educators.

Regional Awards
Given to regional members who serve as examples of what it means to be a Profound Gentlemen. They are always choosing to lean into the work to make communities a better place.

Member(s) Of The Year

The highest award given to a member of Profound Gentlemen. They are not only creating change for themselves but for the entire community at large. They are exemplars of what it means to be a Profound Gentlemen.
